Privacy Policy

Class Manager accounts: your name, email, phone number and school, so you can sign in and we can reach you about your account.

Class and student records: what a teacher enters to run a class: students’ names, and where the teacher adds them, birthdays, addresses, parents’ contact details, marks, attendance, notes, report cards and photos of scanned sheets. We keep these only to run Class Manager for that teacher and school.

Requests and bookings: what you write in our forms (music bookings, consultations, health products, Wi-Fi rentals, guidance requests), with your name and how to reach you, so we can answer you.

Guidance and community requests can be personal. Share only what you’re comfortable with; a first name or initials is enough. These are seen only by us and, with your request, the person we refer you to.

The daily learning call: if you sign up, your phone number, so the call can reach you.

• We never sell or rent your information, or share it for advertising.
• We show no ads based on you, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
• We never use students’ information for anything but the teacher’s own class.

Student records belong to the teacher and the school. They are seen only by the teacher, the school’s principal, colleagues the teacher chooses to share a class with, and a student’s parent only for the notes and records the teacher chooses to share with them. Teachers are responsible for having their school’s permission to keep students’ information here (see the Terms of Use).

Your information is stored securely with the services that run the site, each bound by its own privacy and security commitments:

• Supabase: our database and sign-in.
• Vercel: the website’s hosting.
• Anthropic (Claude): only when you ask it to: to read a photographed sheet or class list, or to draft a worksheet. It is not used to train AI on your information.
• Resend: to send emails, such as confirmations and replies.
• Twilio: for the daily learning call by phone.
• Stripe: for payments, when a subscription is paid. Card numbers go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them.

We share information with others only when the law requires it, or to protect someone in danger.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Some settings (such as a chosen language, or wording you change on a printed sheet) are kept in your own browser. The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts and Hebrew calendar times from Hebcal; they receive only what any web request carries.

We keep account and class information while your account is open, and requests as long as we need them to serve you and keep proper business records. When you close your account or ask us to, we delete your information, except what the law requires us to keep.

You may ask at any time to see a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. Teachers can also edit and delete their own class records directly in Class Manager.

Class Manager is used by teachers and schools, not by children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13; a student’s record is entered by their teacher.

Sign-in is protected (with an optional second step), connections are encrypted, and every teacher’s records are walled off from every other teacher’s. No system is perfect; if something ever went wrong that affected your information, we would tell you.

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will let account holders know about important changes.
